An Outstanding Fine Art Event Showcasing Local and Regional Artists February 28 – March 3, 2019

Attention Artists: We are now accepting applications to screen for the 42nd Annual Celebration of Creativity held March 5th- 8th, 2020. If you would like to have your work considered for exhibition, please submit a completed application and 6-10 digital images by June 30th, 2019.

The 2019 Celebration of Creativity Fine Art Exhibit & Sale is open to the public February 28th – March 3rd, 2019. Held annually the first weekend in March at Southminster Presbyterian Church in Beaverton, the Fine Art Exhibit & Sale provides an unmatched showcase for more than 80 established and emerging Northwest artists. We are excited to be celebrating our 41st year. The Celebration of Creativity continues to be a special gathering of artists with unique displays and high quality of work exhibited. The Exhibit & Sale will feature a variety of ceramics, fiber art, garden art, baskets, glass, jewelry, mixed media, oil, acrylic, pastel, pottery, photography, sculpture, watercolor, and wearable art – virtually something for everyone.

Selected Works

Marie-Helene Rake of Marie-Helene Rake Jewelry from Forest Grove Oregon. She uses silver and gold in her jewelry to accentuate the gemstones in her collection.

Loren Nelson from Beaverton gets back to basics with her 4 x 5 view camera photography. Black and white silver gelatin prints printed in a traditional darkroom.

David Gutschmidt from Vancouver Washington has a special way with wood. Wood turned, it simply becomes art.

Kay Gifford from Portland works in watercolors for her inspiration. Although she may also do collages of watercolor and acrylics on boards.

Lorraine Bushek of Lorraine Bushek Studio from Portland Oregon paints with oils and might add some gold leaf at times to make her vision seen by all.

Terri Axness of Muddy Creek Studio from Haines Oregon works in Ceramic and mixed media to produce her visions.
